Tutorial: Basics B4 creating website

Hi everyone

    Was just thinking of having own website like others to share my thoughts ideas n crafts n many more but i m not a techi didnt have a knowledge anything about website creation n since doing for hobby sake didnt want to pay huge bucks to a website designer. so was thinking how to do ( finally did somehow) but now i would like to share what all the basic things we should know before creating a website.

• Purpose of ur site:

      For what purpose we are creating site i mean is this for Business or for selling products or education site or could be beauty blogs there are still more for now this are major ones.

       If ur doing it with some designer u wil be free from making ur hand dirty since he wil give completely developed site in ur hand else u need to have basic knowledge about site creation steps.

       whenever someone browsing if u want them to find ur particular site then u should have some name for it n that is Domain name ie ur website address.

       We need to register in some domain name providers there are many Domain name providers. so while getting domain name u should see ur domain name is available or not if it is available then can register n u need to pay some small amount on yearly basis so that no one else can use ur domain name.

        

        I have domain name for my site is yaniframe n this need to have TLD (top level domain) ie .com or .org or .net or .in or .co.in if u want general website .com is fine, if ur doing for education purpose then go for .org n there are many purpose. so u choose what kind of TLD u want, like how i have yaniframe.com once u decided just register n the domain name is urs u wil be owner of it.

     This are few domain name providers u can get one from this providers.

1. Godaddy.com

2. Domain.com

3. Crazydomain.com

    I prefer godaddy since its affordable n easy to maintain with it.

u can compare cost n can choose which ever u like, there are other providers too u can browse to get details about them in google.

      Once u purchased ur own domain name we need to develop with contents and pages n once website is completed this has to be connected to inernet in order to user access ur website n pages for this we need website hosting.

• Hosting: 

        To make ur website accesible world wide hosting is needed. Hosting wil be provided by many companies n u need to pay for that they will provide u space on server n file hosting ie files uploading via FTP(file transfer protocol) n some will give domain names too. so for that we should select hoster.

     We wil buy the space to host the website which was developed.

so once we buy hosting then if anyone type our website address, ex www.example.com then u can access site pages where actually resides on webhosting.

      We can also buy web hosting n domain name together from single company.

5. godaddy.com

      This are major ones there are many providers. choose whom u feel better as every providers has standard charges n facilities u can compare n buy.
